The minds behind the machine have been hard at work updating the Ghost Series II, and now for 2025, the result is ready to be unveiled to the world. Here are all the details of what you can expect when you see a new Rolls-Royce Ghost on the streets of Miami.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II Exterior
Overall, the outside profile of the Ghost has been smoothed out and refined further, with subtly smoother bodylines on the hood and down the sides. This clean look serves to highlight the illuminated Rolls-Royce Pantheon grille, which has stood as a defining beacon for the model in years past. Below the grille, new chrome embellishments draw the eye outward.
The front headlights and daytime running lights have received a major update as well. They now feature a more sophisticated shape that complements the new contours found across the front fascia.
From the back, we see that the tail lamps have been updated as well. Their appearance is influenced by the Spectre, and now features two vertically oriented light panels. The Ghost also has two brand-new 22-inch wheel designs, both of which feature a 9-spoke motif.
The Ghost also comes with a new color, which was specially formulated for the newly updated model. This shimmering hue, which is called Mustique Blue, is named for an island in the Caribbean and is meant to reflect the ocean that surrounds it.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II Interior
One of the most significant recent additions to the in-cabin experience is the pillar-to-pillar glass panel, which houses all of the infotainment displays and allows for even greater customization than before. The color of the digital instruments can now be tweaked to match the aesthetic of the vehicle, allowing Ghost owners to personalize their own Bespoke software experience.
Rear passengers can now connect two different streaming devices to the rear entertainment screens, and the high-definition screens are also compatible with any Bluetooth® audio device. Wi-Fi has been upgraded as well, and the center console features two USB-C charging ports.
The Ghost Series II also benefits from upgraded sound system options. The Rolls-Royce 18-speaker audio system now has a 1,400-watt amplifier, and the acoustics of the cabin essentially turn the headliner and lower section into a reverberating soundstage for maximum resonance and clarity.
Apart from the technological upgrades, the Ghost now includes a range of artisanal touches, like the new Spirit of Ecstasy Clock Cabinet found on the passenger side of the Central Information Display. The interior also has new Bespoke materials like Grey Stained Ash and Duality Twill, both of which took over a year for the professionals at Rolls-Royce to develop.
Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II Performance
With all these exciting changes, diehard fans will be excited to learn one thing that isn’t changing is the Ghost Series II’s celebrated engineering.
It’s still powered by the almighty 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, which provides uncompromising power delivery while retaining a smooth, quiet ride. State-of-the-art components like the Planar Suspension System utilize self-leveling air suspension and electronic shock absorbers to complement the engine’s smooth-sailing performance, making the Ghost Series II one of the most effortlessly easy rides anywhere in the world.
The engine and suspension systems are bolstered by Rolls-Royce’s Flagbearer System and Satellite Aided Transmission, which uses exterior cameras and satellite GPS to fine-tune the self-leveled suspension and gearing to optimize performance in real time.
