Recently, Rolls-Royce celebrated its auspicious 120th anniversary, and to commemorate the event, they unveiled a new super exclusive Private Collection dubbed Phantom Scintilla. Read on for all the exquisite details.
Unique Features of the Phantom Scintilla Collection 
Phantom Scintilla is based on the Phantom Extended, which is considered by the company to be “the ultimate canvas for personalization” due to its commanding profile and uniquely luxurious passenger experience.
Inside, the upholstery is meant to evoke visions of the Spirit of Ecstasy’s flowing gown. When first conceiving the dynamic pattern that weaves through the fabric, the design team sought to create the impression of a watercolor painting. In order to achieve this effect, multiple colors and thread thicknesses were used. According to one artisan, the entire process took more than two and a half years to be fully realized, including over 40 hours to lay out the 869,500 stitches found in the design.
The Spirit of Ecstasy’s form is echoed in the Bespoke “Fleeting Moment” Starlight Headliner as well. 1,500 points of light all illuminate at different intervals using fiber optic technology, giving the impression of motion as the light dances around the cabin.
But perhaps the most impressive aspect of the interior is the “Celestial Pulse” Bespoke artwork that adorns the length of the dashboard.
The exterior is instantly recognizable by its color palette and finish, which is inspired by the Greek sculpture that originally inspired the Spirit of Ecstasy’s design over a century ago. The two-tone scheme is made up of Andalusian White on the upper body and Thracian Blue underneath. These primary colors are complemented by a shimmering metallic flake and hand-painted Spirit Blue pinstriping.
In another nod to the original Parian marble statue, the Phantom Scintilla’s Spirit of Ecstasy statue is given a ceramic finish.
The collection is rounded out by a set of bespoke full wood rear picnic tables, which are finished with a mixture of materials that create a shifting two-tone that mimics the sea around the Greek island of Paros.

Unfortunately, all 10 of the Phantom Scintilla models were already spoken for at the time of its unveiling, which means only a lucky few will likely ever lay eyes on one in person.
Because of the sheer craftsmanship that went into bringing this Private Collection to life—a Herculean undertaking even by Rolls-Royce standards—the Phantom Scintilla is among the most expensive luxury cars in the world.
